National Agricultural Science and Technology Cente
The Chengdu National Agricultural Science and Technology Center is located in the core area of Luxi Zhigu by Xinglong Lake. It covers an area of 3,300 mu and is composed of 16 single buildings. Among them, the Smart Agriculture Building, the Vertical Agriculture Building, and the Urban Agriculture Building are the cores of the park. In addition to highlighting the avant-garde and technological design style, their combination with aluminum alloy complements each other. The buildings and fences in the park are all made of Expanded® EWG13 and coated with champagne gold on the surface. The purpose is to provide support for plants to climb, and at the same time, the soft combination of gold and green is also taken into consideration. As the main material for plant coverage in the park, the Expanded® material demonstrates its corrosion resistance under high humidity conditions and good load-bearing capacity, laying a good foundation for the overall construction of the park to become China’s “Agricultural Silicon Valley”.
